Job Description:

The Academic Instructor is responsible for providing academic instruction to students in accordance with approved curricula. Incumbent shall develop and prepare lessons; recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials; administer and correct tests; and maintain progress and attendance reports. Develop and conduct enrichment programs as assigned. Participate in student activities associated with the intellectual and social development of students. Assist in developing community linkages and volunteers for department. Maintain accountability of students and property. Perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management. Position is located in the Montgomery Park Building in Northwest Portland

Candidate must have a valid State of Oregon teaching certification and driver’s license in state of residence with an acceptable driving record. Computer proficiency required. Math endorsement and one year instructional experience preferred.

$43, 704.96 annual salary + benefits package that includes company paid and optional benefits, paid holidays, vacations, and sick leave.
