Job Description:

Use your healthy and creative cooking skills in a unique position where you also get to mentor young people. Cook needed to prep and serve appetizing and appealing, healthy meals according to preplanned menus. Prepare meals for 140 students in a beautiful campus setting. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards. Ensure work area is safe, clean and sanitary at all times. Display excellent customer service and respectful communication skills. Job Corps is a career technical training program that helps young people improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. There are approximately 140 students enrolled (most reside on campus) and 70 staff supporting the success of students in various departments. Must have High School Diploma or equivalent and one year related experience. Current Food Handlers required. Previous experience in a commercial or institutional kitchen preferred.
