Job Description Description RN - Quality Assurance located at
Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center (primary location) and
Providence Milwaukie Hospital (secondary location), with occasional
travel to Providence Newberg Medical Center. The position is
primarily onsite but offers occasional hybrid (remote) work. This
is a full time, day shift position with a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
work schedule. The Patient Safety Specialist develops and
administers programs and interventions that support a safe
environment for patients. Through proactive risk assessment, root
cause analysis, apparent cause analysis, common cause analysis,
event investigation, and data analysis, the Patient Safety
Specialists identifies risk areas and mitigation/correction
strategies. The Patient Safety Specialist provides consultation and
education to members of the care delivery team to help create an
environment of continuous quality and process improvement.

Degree - Nursing. - Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire. - 5
years - Clinical experience. - 5 years - Hospital experience in a
progressively responsible position(s) requiring contact with
various departments. - Demonstrated clinical experience related to
a wide variety of patient populations and care delivery models. -
Demonstrated leadership experience. - Demonstrated experience in
communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with
physicians, nursing, public, and all levels of hospital manage
ment. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree - Nursing, Public
Health, Business, Healthcare or Business Administration. - Adult
