-This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer to join our
collaborative in-house legal team and be an important contributor
to our organization's continued growth and expansion across the

areas of law, partnering with business teams in various
jurisdictions, and developing and implementing creative and

expertise. -The Day-to-Day: -
- Research and provide legal and regulatory analysis and advice
on financial services and investment management, privacy,
employment and other laws and regulations globally
- Conduct legal analysis of complex topics and translating this
analysis into practical and succinct legal advice
- Participate in ad-hoc regulatory and business projects, which
may include implementation of new legislation or regulatory
requirements
- Launch new regulated entities (including incorporation and
licensing)
- Draft or review various documents related to legal support of
the business globally, which may include commercial contracts,
employment agreements, investment management agreements, fund
documentation, policies, business guidelines
- Handle corporate law and commercial matters
- Handle employment law and litigation matters
- Draft, review and negotiate vendor contracts
- Coordinate with external counsel on various matters
- Train and mentor paralegals, fellow lawyers and business
colleagues on new or changing regulations and other mattersYour
Qualifications: -
- Law degree from an accredited law school, with admission to a
bar
- 6+ years' post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years
of experience at a mid to large sized law firm
- Skill in effectively balancing business interests against legal
and regulatory risks, and factoring in the bigger picture,
strategic goals
- Familiarity with international investment management,
employment or privacy laws in various jurisdictions will be
beneficial, but not mandatoryCompensation: -
- $195,000 - $285,000 base salary per year in the state of WA.
New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range
depending on experience.
- Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual
