Reports to: Guest Services Manager
X non-exempt
Salary: $19-22 depending on experience
Job Summary:-- Under the direction of the Guest Services Manager, assist with providing an array of activities and programs and transportation to enhance the life enrichment of residents and support the Guest Services Department. --Responsible for safe and efficient transportation of residents and guests in company-owned vehicles and for assisting residents and guests on and off company-owned vehicles.
Essential job functions:
1.---------- Is knowledgeable of proper etiquette when interacting with residents and guests.
2.---------- Maintaining the activity calendar including planning and executing events.
3.---------- Leading PrimeFit exercise classes.
4.---------- Decorating the community in a tasteful and appropriate manner for various theme events.
5.---------- Researching, interviewing, and scheduling entertainment for events while remaining within budgetary guidelines.
6.---------- Creating calendar of events that will attend to individual and group needs in terms of physical, mental and spiritual selections.
7.---------- Maintaining a relationship with outside sources as resources for resident activities i.e., local senior centers, religious groups, libraries, hospitals, high schools and local merchants.
8.---------- Operating a company-owned vehicle safely and efficiently.
9.---------- Observes all safety rules and exercises good judgment in the operation of the vehicle.
10. Is knowledgeable of valet parking procedures and available to perform such procedures when required.
11. Acting as a representative of Leisure Care Retirement Communities to the general public. Adheres to professional standards in personal appearance, conduct and motives. Is a person who is to be trusted and is an expert in the senior housing industry.
