Job Description:
As the Art Director you will be responsible for bringing the
brand to life visually, digitally, experientially, and
physically
from design to production. You will do this by translating
Marketing strategies into integrated cross-channel campaign
creative. In partnership with the Creative Director, you will
manage multiple design projects and manage/mentor a team of
internal designers and agency partners to ensure all creative
design development for Tillamook has a consistent voice, tone and
visual direction across many mediums. The Art Director will execute
the Tillamook creative strategy to design solutions for campaign
advertising that includes, but not limited to, films/videos, OOH,
social media, website, CRM, Omni-Shopper, and environmental design.
This position will oversee all Shopper Marketing in-house creative
development. You will be responsible for translating the brand
platform into creative strategy for the Shopper channel that pushes
innovative thinking and channel excellence. You will inspire
compelling ways for how to scale creative ideas through templates,
photography and design systems that express the brand in a bold,
consistent and unique way.
Management Responsibilities:
Selecting top talent and onboarding/training new employees

Job Duties:
Manage direct report (s), overseeing their day-to-day workload and
guiding their growth and development.
Partner with Marketing channel managers to review weekly creative
from external agencies (Social, CRM, Web)
Lead creative concepting and execution, ensuring a cohesive brand
expression across channels and platforms.
Provide design feedback and direction to Marketing Channel Owners
on integrated campaign development during weekly Creative
Reviews.
Proactive communication with internal and cross-functional groups
as the champion of the Tillamook brand, working collaboratively,
while inspiring and helping others.
Develop art direction, attend and art direct still photography and
film/video shoots.
Develop scalable creative concepts, design systems, and templates
to test and optimize. Provide visual guidance for live action
production inclusive of: director/photographer selection, casting,
locations, and wardrobe.

Partner with Creative Director in the annual audit of brand visuals
and create new design systems based on the annual learnings
Support external partners/agencies. Briefing them on the brand
guidelines and developing additional design resources, such as
visual centers, toolkits or playbooks.
Work with project managers to co-create approach for creative
development and execution that ensures schedules are accurate,
realistic and deadlines are met.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in graphic design or equivalent
10+ years of experience in an Advertising agency environment
Social and Digital experience a must

A strong, portfolio of diverse creative campaign and brand work
from branding to integrated advertising campaigns
Ability to produce quality work by deadline in a fast-paced
environment
A strong understanding in developing a visual language for social
and digital content
Experience in brand development workflows
A self-managing, motivated and entrepreneurial outlook
Ability to deliver and take constructive feedback gracefully
Strong communication and presentation skills
Expert understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite graphic
applications
Extreme organization, and is able to manage multiple projects at
once
Work ethic and desire to expand skills and contribute to a beloved
brand
Excellent skills in typography
Willingness to adapt when tasks, projects and dates change at any
time
Strong knowledge of and sensitivity to current consumer trends and
how it applies to the food industry and grocery
