Ideal candidate skillsinclude:Enjoy working hard and pursues everything with energy and has a drive and need to finishHas a strong ethic of accountability and dedication to the jobHas functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishmentBe a team member that is easy to approach and talk to-builds rapport wellProvides excellent customer service to internal and external customersUses time effectively to meet deadlinesConcentrates efforts on most important prioritiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.Communicate via telephone and email with property managers and vendors as neededComplete 1099 forms per IRS regulations Complete personal property tax returns Assist with various projects within the accounting department. Prepare various mailings within the department.Scan various documents into accounting software. Assist with the completion of various reports Daily FilingPerforms other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Physical Demands : QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to understand Debits and Credits. SAGE and ResMan experience a plus. Excel experience preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSValid Drivers LicenseOTHER QUALIFICATIONSAbility to operate basic office equipment such as telephones, typewriters, 10 key, photocopier, and fax machine.PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
