Our Business Data Science team at Momentive builds Insights & data solutions for different cross functional partners(sales/finance/marketing/customer success) to make informed business critical decisions.

You will

  • Work with product managers, data engineers, other data scientists, and cross functional business leadership to identify and prioritize customer and business problems.
  • Translate business problems into mathematical problem statements and form hypotheses that can be answered with data using scientific methods
  • Design, develop, and evaluate statistics and ML models to drive business transformation and growth.
  • Experience in writing production level code and implement software development life cycle to adopt ML models
  • Guide and establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, validation and implementation
  • Identify business opportunities and insights and provide solutions to shape key business processes and policies based on data, industry best-practices, and collaboration with other teams.
  • Collaborate with the Data Engineering team for production implementations of large-scale data analysis and/or ML models.

    You have
    • Bachelors or Master's degree in a highly quantitative field: Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, etc.
    • 5+ years of hands-on industry experience in predictive modeling and analysis, multivariate statistics, data modeling, as an ML engineer or data scientist.
    • Analytical skills - ability to scope out business problems, start from ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis and draw conclusions relevant to the business problem.
    • Coding skills - with Python or R, Experience with data manipulation/analysis libraries such as Scikit-learn and Pandas for analyzing and modeling data.
    • Communication skills: Proven ability to communicate verbally and in writing to technical peers and business teams, educating them about our systems, as well as sharing insights and data-driven recommendations.
    • Experienced in using multiple data science methodologies to solve complex business problems (e.g. statistical analysis, research science, regression modeling, classification modeling, forecasting, etc.).
    • Experience with managing large and disparate data sources
    • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in several of the following areas: Supervised and unsupervised machine learning, statistics, data analytics, NLP, recommendation systems, information retrieval.
    • Experience with cloud technologies(AWS / Azure / Google Cloud or any)
    • Advanced knowledge and expertise with Data modeling skills, Advanced SQL with cloud data warehouses.
