Providence is calling a Financial Analyst who will:

  • Serve as a member of the service area team and sit on local ministry teams to provide analytical support regarding the team's financial performance
  • Analyze, understand and report on key financial and business trends for the organization
  • Collect, research and organize financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analysesWe welcome 100% remote work for residents of SW Washington and Oregon.

    Primary Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze financial and operational results to understand and report underlying causes for business performance and variance
  • Pro-actively review, analyze, monitor, and report on operational, financial, and reports
  • Develop financial proformas and value propositions
  • Provide continued measurement of actual performance against current project budgets, original project funding, and other measures as appropriate
  • Support business leaders with annual operating budget and long range plan, including capital budget and financial forecasts
  • Work with Accounting team to conduct regular review of monthly accounting close
  • Prepare various analyses and recommendations used by business leaders in making informed operating decisions
  • Review and verification of productivity metrics and statisticsRequired qualifications for this position include:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a Finance related field -OR- a combination of equivalent education and 4 years of experience
  • 0-5 years analytical and business experience or the ability to apply business knowledge and analytical skillsPreferred qualifications for this position include:
