complex analyses? Otak is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst with a
strong background in SQL and PowerBI to join our finance team in
our Portland office! Otak is a multi-disciplinary architecture and
engineering firm that is part of HamniGlobal, a large international
PMCM (program management construction management) firm. Come join a

Oregon, Washington, and Colorado, as well as supporting extensive
HamniGlobal (HG) operations in the UK and worldwide. This position
is responsible for the preparation of detailed financial analyses,
plans, forecasts and financial reportingforboth Otak's US
operations and Hamniglobal's operations in the UK (and potentially
other countries in the future).This may include preparation of
weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial analysis, reporting,
planning and forecasting to support various business units in the
US and UK. - What You'll Do:
- Financial Planning and Analysis support for Otak (US) and HG
international subsidiaries.
- Maintain financial reporting through PowerBI. Manage and
optimize Power BI processes for data intake, validation, mining,
and efficiency, as well as modeling, visualization, and
communication deliverables.
- Lead the design, publication, and maintenance of Otak's & HG's
reporting infrastructure in Power BI. This includes maintaining the
existing infrastructure, designing/developing new report
capabilities, managing the delivery or publication of those reports
and expanding into data warehouse capabilities.
- Ad hoc financial analysis and planning. Prepares monthly,
quarterly and ad hoc financial and operational statements .
- Perform financial modeling and planning to analyze potential
Acquisition targets, lead/perform due diligence and integration
activities, collaborate with key stakeholders and provide concise
written and oral communication to executive team.
- Leads the production and dissemination of department and
business unit specific financial information.
- Assists with annual budget and forecasting processing including
data collection and analysis.
- Analyzes information affecting the performance of the clients;
perform analysis, as requested, of the impact of factors that
affect the overall performance of contracts.
- Develop and maintain financial models as requested by
management, including what-if scenarios.
- Assists in the ongoing improvement and refinement of internal
control procedures and financial consultation with the Financial
Manager. What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or closely related
field.
- Minimum 10 years of related financial planning and analysis
experience.
- Analytical and reporting skills, financial skills, and
accounting skills.
- Proficient in MS Office products, SQL and Power BI.
- Previous experience working with an ERP system (Deltek Vision
or Vantagepoint preferred).
- Experience working with foreign entity reporting including
foreign currency.
- Experience participating in mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience in performing valuations of AE or professional
service companies.
