Location: SE Portland, OR Job Type: Full-Time, Temp (3-6 months),
Fully Onsite Compensation : $29-$35 an hour DOE We are seeking a
dedicated Grants Accountant to join our client's team in SE
Portland, OR. As a Grant Accountant, you will play a vital role in
maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with
grant funding regulations, and supporting financial analysis
related to grant activities. This position offers an excellent
opportunity for individuals with a passion for financial management
and a desire to make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities: Manage
and maintain accurate financial records for grant-funded projects
Ensure compliance with grant funding regulations and reporting
requirements Process grant-related transactions including accounts
payable, accounts receivable, and expense allocations Assist with
month-end closing processes specific to grant accounting Prepare
financial reports and statements for grant-funded projects Analyze
financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for
optimization Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to
monitor grant budgets and expenditures Requirements: Bachelor's
degree in accounting or related field is preferred not required 1-2
years of experience in grant accounting needed Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel and accounting software Strong attention to detail
and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Knowledge of grant funding regulations and compliance
