Waste Connections, a leader in integrated waste services, is seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to oversee daily activities within the waste management sector. The ideal candidate will ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently, aligning with company standards, regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainability. This role is pivotal in managing our onsite operational duties and engaging with both staff and customers to promote optimal service delivery. Oversee and manage daily operations in waste collection, disposal, and processing facilities. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning waste management and environmental protection. Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining quality service. Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance to ensure high productivity and job satisfaction. Coordinate with other departments to optimize logistics and resolve any operational issues. Prepare and review reports on operational performance and progress. Manage budget and operational expenses, ensuring financial goals are met. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in regulatory and environmental compliance related to waste management. Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities. Ability to problem solve and make decisions under pressure. Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in Waste Management or Environmental Compliance is preferred. OSHA Certification in Safety Management.
