Legacy Health is seeking a dedicated Trauma Registrar to join our healthcare team. The Trauma Registrar will play a crucial role in maintaining our trauma database, ensuring accurate data collection, entry, and reporting to support the improvement of patient care and trauma services. This position requires attention to detail, proficiency in data management, and an understanding of clinical terminologies used in trauma care. Collect trauma-related data from various patient records and other sources. Enter and maintain accurate data in the trauma registry software. Provide detailed reports and data analysis to help in trauma care and service improvements. Ensure compliance with national and state regulations regarding trauma data reporting. Participate in quality assurance practices to enhance data integrity and reliability. Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrators to support research and educational activities. Proficiency in database management and data entry Strong attention to detail Knowledge of clinical terminologies specific to trauma and emergency care Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries (CSTR) preferred Familiarity with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
