Job Description Finity Group, LLC is an independent financial advising firm, with offices in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR, but operating in all 50 states. We are a full service, comprehensive financial planning organization specializing in assisting physicians, dentists and other medical professionals to meet and achieve their financial goals. Finity Group provides both personal and business services ranging from life and disability coverage, to wealth management, through investment planning and advisory services related to the design, implementation and maintenance of the overall plan. Summary of Position: Provides a variety of administrative support functions to a team of Financial Advisors requiring knowledge and an understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the advisors practice and duties of the office. Maintains a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the advisors and staff. Works independently and in a team environment. Performs other related duties as required. Duties and Responsibilities: - Produce applications, letters, spreadsheets and other documents. Proofreads documents for accuracy and completeness. - Responsible for the submission of client insurance and investment accounts. Helps manage the client underwriting process by providing updates and necessary supplemental forms. Corresponds with case managers and various carriers for effective case management. Acts as a liaison between the processing team and advisors to provide updates and maintain current case statuses at all times. - Schedules client meetings, provides follow-up and reminders, tracks client reviews and client communication. - Responsible for keeping client files and database systems updated and maintains records, confidential files and other related information for department needs. Minimum Qualifications: - Sufficient formal training and/or experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties as described; a typical qualifying background would include experience working in an office environment involving client interaction. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel and efficiently learn to use various other software applications, communicate effectively in oral and written form; follow instructions; organize and prioritize work; proofread material and make necessary corrections; learn and follow standard office procedures; work cooperatively and effectively with staff and clientele. - English speaking and knowledge of proper English grammar required. Knowledge of standard office software and office equipment required. - Bachelor's Degree required.
