Company: Personal Services, Portland, ME Hartford, CT Remarks: Company is seeking a talented and highly motivated VP, Product Marketing & Pricing to join our rapidly growing and fast-paced Global Technology Solutions division. We are looking for a proven product and solutions marketing executive to own and drive the company's global veterinarian technology solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will lead a small team of product marketing managers and pricing analysts to set the pricing and marketing strategy for our veterinarian-facing solutions. This team will understand the commercial positioning as well as develop and own innovative and unique GTM strategies across the product suite. This leader will work closely with different teams such as engineering, product management, regional sales, marketing and operations. The role requires an individual with strong leadership, excellent commercial acumen and marketing skills who can create and evangelize the customer-facing vision for all of the current and future Company global technology solutions. Leading the working with the pricing team to architect innovative ways to maximize revenue across the suite of solutions for our customers. This leader would work closely with the product team and regional commercial teams to help to develop new GTM strategies based on their industry experience and customer insights Title, scope of responsibilities, and compensation will be dependent on experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES--include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop messaging, strategic positioning, and pricing for all Company global practice technology solutions
• Create product marketing strategy and guidelines to be handed off to all regionally based marketing teams for execution in the form of local campaigns
• Partner closely with product management and development to ensure messaging and positioning strategy supports product roadmap and customer requirements.
• Develop competitive pricing strategy for Company products based on customer requirements, competitive research and value-orientation.
• Support business development, partnership and alliance efforts in a customer facing capacity.
• Engage with customers & sales frequently and intently; be the customer advocate within Company, bringing the voice of customer to the product messaging.
• Support regionally-based sales and marketing in terms of positioning, deal advice and strategy.
• Provide market research and competitive analysis to progress our product and technology strategy.-- QUALIFICATIONS:-- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • 15 - 20 years of software industry experience and a proven record of marketing success.
  • At least 10 years' experience managing teams of technology professionals.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate prior experience messaging, pricing, and positioning complex software solutions.
