Video Editor-Managing Director
Video editor Pacific Northwest Tax School is offering a part-time internship position for a video editor who will be responsible for editing our tax school course videos. What needs to be done: - Review and edit raw video to remove verbal errors and corrections made by instructor. - Video segments are comprised of two video sections and one audio track. There is one of the instructor and one of the Course Manual. Editor will work to highlight relevant parts of the manual to aid students ability to follow along in the manual and understand the topics being taught. - Individual segments will be rendered and catalogued, then compiled into complete lesson videos. - Videos will need to be given an overall professional look with proper opening and closing segments. This is a temporary and part-time position (approximately 25 hours per week). It begins immediately and runs through the end of the year. Office hours are 8 am to 5 pm weekdays, there is flexibility in work schedule to the extend it falls inside company operating hours. Candidate qualifications: -Dependable work ethic. We need a candidate who can show up to work on time and meet weekly publishing deadlines. -Experience with video editing software is required. We use Camtasia software on Windows PCs. -Ability to commute to either the NE Broadway or NW Cornell offices to perform job duties. -Willingness to work on a lengthy and even tedious project that won't win prizes, but is important and much needed work.
