We believe in empowering people to experience the outdoors to the fullest.And we believe in you.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe regional marketing team is responsible for bringing the Columbia brand to life in dozens of markets around the world. The team operates out of a number of global offices, from Switzerland to Shanghai, connecting with and inspiring local outdoor consumers. Whether it's hiking, skiing, fishing or just having fun with the family, this team is focused on getting people outside and keeping them comfortable in great outdoor gear.As Senior Director Regional Marketing you will manage all marketing execution and strategy in the global markets (outside of the U.S.A.), including all brand communications (traditional and digital media, social media, PR). You will also maintain all retail environments, key accounts, omni-channel marketing, sponsorships, events, and other tactics that apply specifically to the markets. You'll collaborate with Global Brand Management and Global Brand Environments to apply global stories and initiatives wisely in the global markets while partnering with global resources to create region-specific marketing, as appropriate. You will be responsible for relaying regional market intelligence to the global organization and assist with transcreation of global campaigns. You and your team will provide marketing support for dealer partners globally, ensuring they have the tools they need to successfully and properly represent the Columbia brand.HOWYOU'LLMAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems, applying advanced analytical thought and judgment
  • Provide leadership and direction through managers in support of an emerging brand within the region. Develop and guide team members in the elevation of business channel program planning and execution
  • Manage all marketing execution and strategy in the markets (APAC, EMEA, LATAM) for the Columbia Brand
  • Create and deliver all brand communications (traditional and digital media, social media, PR), as well as retail environments, key accounts, omni-channel marketing. Sponsorships, events, and other tactics apply
  • Relay regional market intelligence to global organization and assist with transcreation of global campaigns. From here you'll ensure markets have the tools they need to successfully and properly represent the Columbia brand
  • Partner closely with Regional Brand Management, Merchandising and Global Brand Environments to apply global stories and initiatives wisely within global markets, collaborating with global resources to create region-specific marketing, as appropriate
  • Engage with Demand Planning, and other cross-functional groups in the planning and execution of marketing programs including budget management, field planning and execution, and field communication
  • Regularly provide industry intelligence, research, competitive information, analysis, and success measurement to Regional GMs and Global Marketing Teams
  • Analyze field feedback, sales data, distribution information, promotional activity, changing business conditions and competitive activity that may influence sales plan performance
  • Develop and consolidate annual, regional marketing budgets and monitor it in conjunction with Global Marketing leadershipYOU ARE

    • Able to contribute an enterprise view to the broader leadership of global brand marketingYOUHAVE
      • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or applicable certification or equivalent experience in Marketing or Business Administration
      • 10+ years of Global Marketing experience required
      • 10+ years in management including managing through managers
      • 10+ years of broad experience in consumer marketing for a brand, including retail environment, key account, traditional media, digital media, event, and sponsorship activation required
      • Applied, broad industry knowledge and commercial awareness to develop operating plans and drive performance of a significant share of the marketing function in region
