Job Description:
Legacy Health, a leading non-profit health system in the Pacific
Northwest, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Associate to
provide exceptional service within our healthcare and medical
facilities. As part of our team, you will be essential in ensuring
patient satisfaction and support by addressing inquiries,
scheduling appointments, and facilitating communication between
patients and healthcare providers. You'll join a supportive
environment where patient care and community health are our top
priorities. Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and in
person, providing clear and compassionate communication. Schedule
appointments and update patient records with accuracy and attention
to confidentiality. Facilitate communication between patients and
healthcare professionals, ensuring streamlined service and care.
Address and resolve patient complaints with empathy and efficiency,
escalating complex issues when necessary. Participate in ongoing
training to remain proficient in healthcare policies, privacy
regulations, and customer service best practices. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive
information confidentially Proficiency in electronic medical record
(EMR) systems Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced
environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k HIPAA Certification preferred Customer Service
Certification (e.g., CCS, CCS-P) is a plus
