Job Description:
Springdale Job Corps is looking for responsible officers to help
safeguard the student and property of the campus. This is a unique
position, which combines roles of campus security, youth
mentorship, and driving/transportation. Successful Officers must be
able to balance respectful communication (with students) and
enforcement of safety/program policy. Officers assist in emergency
situations. Officers are not primarily responsible for facilitating
student disciplinary action. We are looking for officers able to
work a variety shifts. Successful candidates will possess a high school diploma, two
years of experience (can be any combination of security, loss
prevention, public safety, social work/human services, youth
services military, teaching, etc.), valid drivers license, able to
obtain DPSST certification (we train!), able to obtain CDL (we
train!), and able to pass drug screen and criminal background
check. Job Corps is a career technical training program that helps
young people improve the quality of their lives through career
technical and academic training. There are approximately 140
students enrolled (most reside on campus) and 70 staff supporting
the success of students in various departments. Come join an
