Endeavor Schools at Montessori of Alameda in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Director of Education to join their team.

We are a community of educators who seek to grow together in our craft knowledge to ensure that we thrive as professionals and our students thrive as learners and citizens.As part of the Endeavor Schools Family, Montessori of Alameda is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Education/Assistant School Leader. This position includes both operational and leadership duties, with a key focus on modeling and spearheading Montessori pedagogy, curriculum, and staff mentoring/training.
The selected candidate will actively participate in building relationship with staff, students, and families to promote a healthy school with a strong sense of community and will also guide the day-to-day operations of the school in compliance with all federal, state, accreditation, and internal regulations in an ethical manner.We are offering a $3000 sign on bonus, split into three $1000 payments at 30-, 60-, and 90-days post hire. Employee must be active and in good standing to receive the hiring bonus.Experience and Education:
--- Bachelor's Degree in Education.
--- Montessori certification required
--- Five or more years of Montessori classroom experience.
--- Three or more years in a School Leadership position.
--- Proficiency with technology and software applications including current version of MS Office
--- Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish preferred, Montessori of Alameda is a bilingual program
