Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school
district in Salem, OR is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to
support the needs of students through psychological assessments,
counseling, and collaboration with educators and families. This
contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to the
academic and emotional well-being of diverse student populations in
a school setting. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive
psychological evaluations to identify student needs and develop
appropriate intervention plans - Provide individual and group
counseling to support students social-emotional and behavioral
development - Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and
parents to develop effective educational strategies and
accommodations - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and
contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development -
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant laws
and school policies Qualifications: - Masters or Doctoral degree in
School Psychology or related field - Valid Oregon School
Psychologist license or certification - Experience in conducting
psychological assessments and delivering counseling services in a
school environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
to work effectively with students, families, and school staff -
Knowledge of special education laws, best practices, and
intervention strategies Location: Salem, Oregon Employment Type:
