like it! The Opportunity: We’re looking for Bike and Trail
Instructors for our Summer Camps. Here’s how this job plays a role:
As an instructor you will spend your days outside while inspiring
the next generation of cyclists. It’s active, adventurous, fun, and
incredibly rewarding. You don’t have to be a bike expert because we
provide training for our programs for you to get going in your new
role! WORK DATES & LOCATIONS: Cedar Mill June 15 to August 22nd
Happy Valley June 15 to July 18th Highland June 15 to July 18th
Irvington June 15 to June 29th & August 10th to August 22nd Lake
Oswego June 15th to September 4th Laurelhurst June 15 to August
22nd Rose City Park June 15th to July 11th & August 10th to 22nd
Sellwood/Reed June 15 to August 22nd SW Portland June 15 to August
22nd University Park June 15th to July 11th West Linn June 15th to
July 18th Vancouver East June 15th to July 11th Vancouver West
August 10th to August 22nd WAGE: $16.70 /hour $17.13/ hour (WA,
Vancouver) What you’d be responsible for: In addition to sharing
your ideas on how we can grow, learn and build, in this role,
you’ll also be: Teaching our daily Pedal heads camp programs for
children ages 2-12 years Actively introduce children new bike
skills Ensure the health and safety of children at camp Act as a
positive role model and leader at all times Communicate regularly
with parents about their child’s progress Skills, Knowledge and
Experience: Here are some of the skills / specifics that are
important for this role: You will be at least 16 years of age by
the start of camp Comfortable leading a group of up to 6 children
(training provided) Committed to keeping our campers safe You are
energetic, creative, motivated and fun Hold or willing to get a
current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificate Criminal record
check required for ages 18 You have access to a bike and helmet and
