Essential duties and Responsibilities: Clean equipment, work area, paint mixing area, and other areas around the warehouse Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures Janitorial duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and general clean-up of outside areas around the office. Removal of trash from all office spaces and surrounding areas. Work safely in accordance with company safety rules and procedures at all times including keeping your work area clean and orderly Maintain food safety standards Respond to emergency situations as required Report any warehouse issues to supervisor or managerial staff Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with co-workers Responsible for maintaining all restrooms sanitary Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements: · Two years of experience in a related field preferred · Knowledge and skill in hazardous materials handling, application, and disposal · Knowledge of washing and cleaning in a cold warehouse environment · Ability to follow oral and written instructions · Requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision. · Physical requirements: must be able to kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, bend, etc. with comfort and ease; must also be able to move objects weighing between 20 and 50lbs · Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environment (PPE provided) · Ability to solve problems in independent and team setting · Safety commitment Benefits you will enjoy: · Comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, Dental, Prescription Drug Plan, Disability Plan, Life insurance Plan · 401K savings Plan · Paid Holidays · Personal Time off · Employee Discounts Quirch Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
