Are you looking to start your career in the automotive field? AAA Oregon/Idaho is seeking an energetic, punctual, and enthusiastic team member to join AAA's Fleet.This position will provide battery and light service technical assistance to AAA members at the Fleet facilities. Responsibilities also include assisting the maintenance team with a variety of tasks including general vehicle maintenance to battery and tow trucks, shop inventory, and building maintenance. This position will also support the delivery of emergency roadside services to as needed to achieve member service goals. Represent AAA Oregon/Idaho as a professional member service specialist in all assignments.Business hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.100% onsite at Fleet West, with travel to Fleet East, parts stores, and various suppliers.Education/Skills/Experience:Must maintain excellent driving record.Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. This role does not required a CDL.Must be able to safety drive in both rural and urban areas in various road/weather conditions.Strong customer services and verbal communication skills required.Basic automotive repair experience preferred.High school completion preferred.Basic writing and mathematics skills required.Ability to utilize a computer, phone and tablet.English/Spanish bilingual skills a plus - pay differential for bilingual qualifications.BenefitsPay for this role starts at $21.00, plus up to an additional $3.75 per hour for shift and bilingual differentials along with quarterly safety and other incentives.We offer competitive time off programs, health, dental, disability/life insurance, up to 9% 401(k) total employer contribution, AAA membership, and more.
