We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to come and join our growing team! This position will be based out of Portland, OR. ABOUT THE JOB: Anctil is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Tech with a skilled background, hands-on approach, and the ability to work independently or as a team, to provide comfort solutions to our customers. As an Anctil Commercial Service Technician your primary responsibilities will be to travel to customer locations, diagnose, and repair their HVAC equipment. At times, to fill in your schedule, you will perform planned maintenance. You will follow company standards and procedures as you do your work, and detail all work performed and parts used in our field service software. Finally, you will provide excellent customer service on every job and ensure our customers continue to ask for Anctil, as many of them have done for decades. Responsibilities include: · Work with safety in mind at all times. · Inspect and troubleshoot problems with existing Commercial HVAC units. · Install replacement parts on existing Commercial HVAC units. · Clean, adjust, repair systems, and perform warranty services. · Maintain inventory of replacement parts and order replacements. · Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements. · Participate in technical training, safety meetings, and teamwork projects. · Ability to work after hours, over the weekends, and holiday work, as needed. · Participate in the service team on-call rotation. · Perform routine maintenance on Commercial HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly. We not only look for people who possess great skill sets and experience in the industry, but people who share our core values: CORE VALUES · High Performance · Serving Others · Professionalism · Integrity · Continuous Improvement In addition to your core values, to be successful in this HVAC Tech role, you will possess the following: · 4 years of Commercial HVAC experience · Current EPA 608 Certification · Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. · Extensive knowledge of Commercial HVAC systems and related equipment. · Ability to use power and hand tools. · Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC system. · Ability to read operations and repair manuals for HVAC systems. · Ability to follow instructions. · Excellent mechanical skills. · Excellent communication skills required to interact with customers. · Valid Driver’s License. · Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship of an HVAC program- not required but helpful. · Current Oregon LEB technician license a HUGE PLUS! Physical Requirements include: · Working within tight/confined spaces. · Physically able to work on HVAC units. · Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders. · Possibly of working in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on the time of year. · Must be able to lift 50lbs and communicate when needing a team lift member.
