Job Description:
Legacy Health, a leading non-profit health system located across
Oregon and Washington, seeks a dedicated Licensed Engineer LBME Med
Gas to join our Engineering & Maintenance department. This crucial
role involves maintaining and ensuring the safe and efficient
operation of medical gas systems across our facilities. The
successful candidate will utilize their specialized skills in LBME
Med Gas systems to support a wide range of healthcare services,
guaranteeing optimal functionality and compliance with industry
standards and safety guidelines. Install, maintain, and repair
medical gas systems and equipment, adhering to all safety, health,
and regulatory requirements. Perform regular system inspections and
safety checks to ensure compliance with national standards and best
practices. Troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform necessary
repairs or adjustments. Collaborate with healthcare staff and other
engineering team members to ensure system reliability and
performance. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities,
system performance, and compliance documentation. Participate in
ongoing training to stay current with technological advancements
and regulatory changes in medical gas systems. In-depth knowledge
of medical gas systems and components. Strong analytical and
problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and teamwork
skills. Ability to adhere to complex regulations and standards.
Experience with system diagnostics and troubleshooting. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid Licensed Biomedical Equipment Technician with Medical Gas
endorsement (LBME Med Gas). Professional certification in
healthcare facility management or engineering is preferred but not
mandatory.
