We are looking for a Medical Director PRN at our Washington County
Facility in (Hillsboro, OR) to be responsible for providing
oversight of UM/QI processes, inpatient utilization review, medical
necessity decisions, health plan and legislative compliance. The
Medical Director will build and foster physician relations,
including education, data analysis, and Care Management
initiatives. Where applicable, provide comprehensive diagnostic and
restorative medical and psychotherapeutic services and examinations
within a specific scope of practice to patients. The Medical
Director will develop and implement individualized patient care and
treatment plans. As the primary care provider for the delivery of
essential health services to inmates, works closely with Health
Services Administrator maintain delivery of essential healthcare
Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program. Physician licensure
Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine,
One year of professional critical care experience is preferred.
Prior correctional clinical experience, preferred.
Previous medical director experience with physician group and/or
health plans preferred.
Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
Current X Waiver - Drug Addiction Treatment Act Waiver, preferred.
Required before hire date.
Current CPR certification with the ability to perform CPR as
Must provide 4 available shifts each month per facility guidelines
and work at least once within a 90 day period to continue
