Benefits include: Paid Time Off/Vacation, Paid Holidays, Health Insurance, Cell Phone Credit, Mileage Reimbursement.Project Manager - Job DescriptionThe Project Manager will manage and control the total scope of services as defined in the Contract Documents while maintaining the profitability objectives of the company. This position will manage multiple projects in various phases of construction in addition to managing projects in the preconstruction/estimating phase. The employee must have deep knowledge of building and construction in addition to having strong business acumen.The position requires the ability to help develop, implement, and manage the overall strategic business plan. The person must demonstrate daily leadership, technical construction experience, and market-specific insight to ensure the best possible outcomes for Aforma's projects. Success will be based on achieving agreed-upon metrics in the areas of safety, culture, schedule, budget, quality of executed craft, and experience of client and trade partners.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe primary point of contact with several Clients and Aforma's departments, including the design team, construction services, and Integrated Services (IT, consultants, trade partners, prefabrication)Participate in all Client/Design/IS/Manufacturing meetings from Pre-Con Phase to Project Completion with a focus on providing constructability, assembly, and logistics insightParticipate in the development and evolution of Aforma's brand, customer experience, products, standard operating procedures, and custom componentsBe the primary point of contact for all Project related needsCoordinate all project buy-outs and subcontract awardsReview and supervise all project schedules, costs, site safety requirements, logistics, trade partners and material(s) coordination plansRun weekly internal project meetings (Weekly Action Reviews) and be available for all project-related Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) and trade partner meetingsSupervise the timely and accurate processing of all project billing and invoices within a defined accounting cycleManage the overall financial success of each project with a specific focus on cost, efficiency, and profitabilityImplement assigned duties with an exceptional level of timeliness and cost-effectivenessEstablish and maintain a professional working relationship with the team, trade partners, clients, and building officialsEnsure all project estimates are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the project. Become familiar with each estimate to fully support its integrityManage project budget and schedule updatesPrepare monthly cost projections and project status reportsLead construction progress meetingsReview and monitor all design and construction phase documents for conformance with the budget, schedule, and prime contractReview subcontracts and proposals; lead negotiations for changes to conform with company standards and practical expectationsProvide what is needed so Aforma can be successful with future sales.Manage 6-10 projects simultaneously up to $5MRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of project management experienceSkilled in project management software and equipmentMust possess deep technical knowledge, scheduling fluency, and exceptional organizational skillsExcellent verbal, written and facilitation skills; including the ability to influence, negotiate and explain complex processes to clients and staffDemonstrated commitment to diversity, learning and successfully working in multicultural environmentsPreferred Skills & ExperienceProcoreHas worked on custom architectural projects (with design partners involved with construction management)Commercial projectsEstimating softwareJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Health InsurancePaid Time OffProfessional development assistanceVision InsuranceSchedule:Monday to Friday
