Desktop Virtualization (VDI) - Product Manager (Remote)

We are currently looking for a Product Manager who is responsible for driving the product strategy, roadmap, design, go-to-market, and its execution on our Connected Workspace solution. You will be an evangelist for the product, both inside and outside of Star2Star, and be able to clearly articulate the product offering to anyone you meet. You work closely with internal and external stakeholders and decision-makers to deliver a world-class fully operationalized product to the market.

Your Role
Deliver industry-leading Connected Workspace solutions built upon Star2Star's business communications platform.
Own the product development life cycle and go to market for their product. Drive the roadmap, go-to-market, and its execution.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a world-class Connected Workspace product to the market.
Lead the product lifecycle: user/customer research, product requirements, development, QA, Alpha/Beta, and post-release. The ideal candidate will have a mix of product management and Agile/Scrum skills.
Evangelist for the product, both inside and outside of Star2Star, and be able to clearly articulate the benefits of the product as a leading UC and Collaboration solution.
Provides product management direction and support with optimizing, integrating and unifying on a wide swath of technologies including:
Office 365 (includes Outlook and Teams) and other collaboration and related software solutions.
Directory services (internal and external customer), along with file share storage solutions.
Microsoft & Azure cloud services.
Self-help services.
Experience in IT Services and third party relationships (e.g., Citrix, Microsoft, Azure, etc).
Gather and analyze feedback from internal and external market sources.
Create product requirements. Prioritize features and deliverables.
Conduct business-level verification and market testing of new features.
Be an expert with respect to the competition and best practices.
Work with the UX Lead to develop the product user interface design and user experience, when applicable.
Work with the engineering team to guide product development.
Act as the Agile Product Owner. Create user stories. Develop and maintain a backlog.
Coordination with the marketing team on product launch and general content and positioning.
Provide technical and sales guidance to direct and channel sales teams
Your Background
Driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of urgency. Must be resourceful, proactive, and passionate.
Some familiarity with SVPG, Lean, Pragmatic Marketing and/or other product management disciplines.
Lead the product roadmap, go-to-market, and execution for the Connected Workspace Service solutions.
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Team player that works well in collaborative and matrix organizations
The ability to clearly articulate complex and abstract ideas
Familiarity with customer, partner and field sales business processes
Be able to lead and drive a team of developers to realize your product vision
Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time
BA/BS degree and a minimum of five years' experience in product management and software development
Key technologies experience including workstation (includes laptops, tablets and cell phones) management systems, directory services, messaging, Office 365, collaboration, VDI/DAAS, data analytics, Microsoft/Azure cloud services, and self-help services
Minimum of three years of product managing a Digital Workspace solution with demonstrable subject matter expertise
Minimum of 5 years of implementing and driving user experience techniques and metrics
Working knowledge in DWS Cyber Security, Network technologies, and configuration alternatives.
