To make this happen, we must remain committed to being part of the solution.To help us continue our commitment to making a real difference, we are currently looking for a RESIDENT CARE MANAGER to assist with the clinical oversight and support of services provided to our residents within our organization, spreading over 8 states, and over 55+ skilled nursing, assisted and independent living centers.
JOB SUMMARY:Americana Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Resident Care Manager to help lead clinical services and support for our Center. The candidate will be a full-time RN and will be part of our 100% Employee Owned skilled nursing facility in Longview!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Works collaboratively with members of the healthcare team. Maintains standards of professional nursing practice.
  • Obtains and administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Keeps resident family and physician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, or conditions of health.
  • Modifies resident care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Aide flow sheets in conjunction with resident changes in condition.
  • Completes Quality Assurance audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
    EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Required RN license for the state of practice, or ability to obtain a license before starting work
    • Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
    • Preferred 1 year prior supervisory experience in long-term healthcare setting
    • Preferred Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
