WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Finance Director to lead Inventory Financial Management. As we execute against our Consumer Direct Acceleration strategy, business mix shifts are significantly changing our Inventory positions and cash conversion cycles, requiring us to build more financial rigor into the Inventory management process.
Our ideal candidate needs to be an eager change agent that thrives in a team environment. We are looking for someone with the ability to lead and inspire their teammates and a very broad set of stakeholders. You will need a strategic mindset, a bias toward action, and a commitment to execution. You will need a strong analytical skillset, an ability to 'connect the dots' from various sources, and the capacity to influence decision making.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will develop financial guardrails to guide manufacturing capacity decisions and drive confidence in our Inventory buys. You will build a framework to develop benchmarks aimed at ensuring a strong Return On Investment (ROI) ahead of key decision points. Then, you will track and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), such as Gross Margin Return on Inventory (GMROI), analyze forecasts/results to identify insights, and propose action items in support of our strategic priorities and near-term objectives. Your insights will also be critical to improving cash flow projections and deepening our understanding of business shift impacts.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The Finance Director, Demand & Supply Management will be a valued member of the Demand & Supply Management (DSM) Finance team and will work with a diverse set of leaders across Global Finance, Demand & Supply Management, and Supply Chain. You will also partner closely with cross-functional teammates and routinely present results and insights to Sr. Leadership.
WHAT YOU BRING


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-related field with emphasis in Finance and/or Accounting

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Strategic Planning, Accounting, or Budgeting

  • Validated leadership capabilities in leading, coaching, driving and inspiring diverse, world-class teams

  • Demonstrated ability to partner across varied stakeholder populations including executive-level leadership

  • Ability to constantly question the status quo and believe there is always a way we can continuously improve

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, demonstrating growth and learning agility in developing new partnerships and knowledge base

  • Demonstrated experience in working cross-functionally to lead and influence business decisions

  • Strong enthusiasm and passion for the NIKE brand!
