The Opportunity DAT is seeking an Associate Director of Product Marketing to join our outstanding Marketing team in Denver, CO. You---ll bring your passion for delivering great customer experiences to the DAT suite of SaaS solutions for the freight industry. You---ll drive the marketing strategy and plans that deliver on the business goals for our products and target segments. This role serves as the customer and market champion, the voice and face to the market, and will take ownership of high impact messaging, product launches, and go-to-market plans and execution. You---ll lead cross functionally to create marketing strategies and execution for a defined segment and product mix. Candidate Profile An excellent track record performing in a Product Marketing role in B2B and SaaS markets. An enthusiastic leader of cross functional teams. An expert collaborator who contributes valuable market and customer insights to create great products. Takes ownership for high impact messaging, product launches, and go-to-market plans and execution. What You---ll Do Develops deep insights and knowledge of the market, customers, and competition. Initiates, defines and manages market research studies in collaboration with internal and external market research professionals and the product team. Gathers and assimilates end-user data from primary and secondary sources including field observations, interviews, customer feedback, and industry surveys. Drives the product positioning, messaging, branding/naming, and value proposition for the product. Develops market and customer experience requirements for the product and ensures requirements are being met at each stage of the product development lifecycle. Works with the UX team to develop and execute a solid Customer experience strategy and execution for the customer journey. Work with Marketing and Sales teams to develop demand generation and lead generation plans. Works through existing customer communications and develops upsell/cross-sell programs. Puts measures and KPI---s in place for key market analytics and business performance measures. Supports sales channels through joint sales calls and visits to key accounts, and contributes to proposals. Takes a leadership role in trade show support and conference calls. The Skills And Experience You---ll Bring 10 years product marketing experience in software and/or marketplace/platform businesses. SaaS experience required. Direct supervisor experience required. Broker, 3pl, and transportation industry experience essential for success in this position Deep knowledge and demonstrated experience marketing to manufacturer and retail customers. A track record of success leading cross functional teams, and as an expert collaborator. DAT provides a laptop and optional equipment as needed for productivity. A hard-wired connection from the laptop to the router/modem with an ethernet cable is required. Wireless, satellite, microwave, and cellular hotspot connections do not qualify because they can compromise security and call stability. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university. (Colorado only) In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $151,000, plus benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
