Job Description:
Working at Extensis // You'll be a creative and collaborative
leader of the Extensis US sales team, coaching team members to sell
our products to new and existing accounts. This role will be
fast-paced and challenging, and a successful candidate will have a
proven track record of closing business and teaching others. This
candidate will be able to teach selling tactics and pipeline
management skills and hold team members accountable to their sales
targets. The candidate should be personable, opportunity-driven,
and have a good understanding of the sales process, reporting those
results back to the Sales Director. The ideal candidate will be
able to adjust and execute the Extensis sales playbook to improve
team performance and align a customer's business needs with
products in the Extensis platform . What You'll Do // As a Manager,
Account Management your duties will include:
- Coach team to follow a sales playbook that best guides a
prospect to become an Extensis customer
- Teach and/or demonstrate good pipeline management skills to
support a healthy pipeline forecast
- Teach and/or demonstrate effective sales strategies to improve
opportunity creation and conversion metrics
- Work strategically with the Channel Sales team to execute on
collaborative sales opportunities
- Implement migration campaigns to move customers from existing
products to the new Extensis platform
- Launch outbound prospecting campaigns aimed at targeted
accounts and develop additional pipeline from that outreach
effort
- Hold account managers accountable to CRM updates, daily task
management, and a minimum expectation of logged activities
- Work with Extensis Channel managers to optimize the handoff
playbook to leverage partner responsibility for legacy product
sales
- Coach Account Managers to hand off products that don't fit with
Extensis of the future
- Develop new outreach strategies to gain better response rates
or new lead acquisition
- Co-sell opportunities with Account Managers, when
appropriate
- Uncover business and workflow needs so you can present feedback
to our product management team What you Bring // In addition to a
positive attitude, a desire to learn, and a passion for what you
do, the ideal candidate will also have the following:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years inside or outside sales experience in a technology
environment. Special consideration may be given to candidates with
experience in B2B SaaS.
- Have experience coaching a team, or being a sales team
lead
- A proven track record of quota and goal achievement.
- Have strong coaching skills and understand how to enforce CRM
adherence
- A motivated hunter who likes to be rewarded for an outreach
effort
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and
comfort with digital presentations
- The ability to identify customer business needs to recommend
relevant solutions.
- The ability to teach how to prioritize responsibilities in a
fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Have experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce
- Be a great listener and demonstrate the ability to ask good
questions throughout a sales process
- Be competitive and performance-driven.
- Be intelligent, curious, and a problem-solver
- Be a person who embraces learning, values feedback, and works
to improve every day
- Additional language skills are a plus
- Possess skills to work independently from your home office What
