(formerly WestLand Resources Inc.) is growing, and we have several opportunities in our Environmental Services department for Environmental Project Managers. These positions can be based out of any of WestLand's offices in OR, WA, NV or AZ and will be responsible to work with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure projects are completed to WestLand's high standard. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:ESSENTIAL DUTIESDevelop and manage project scope, schedule, and budget in alignment with client and firms needsManage project progress using project management software. Experience with VantagePoint considered an asset.Direct project specific researchWrite or supervise the writing of project reportsReview reports for accuracy and adherence to agency guidelinesSchedule project resources and ensure projects are staffed appropriately Mentor junior staff in developing research and compliance documentsInteract with environmental compliance agencies and other government bodiesMaintain regular and productive communication with clientsParticipate in marketing and proposal effortsREQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in natural resources, environmental science, geology, soil science, or related field.Five (5) or more years of experience in environmental permitting (including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 404, Endangered Species Act (ESA), etc.). Experience with permitting processes specific to western states a plus.Two (2) or more years of experience managing projects with ever increasing complexity.Experience writing and reviewing technical reportsExperience leading and mentoring environmental teams including environmental specialists (botanists, biologist, geologists, etc.)At WestLand, our purpose is to sustain a friendly, inspired company, where dedicated people work together to create exceptional outcomes.
