Sr. Director of Clubhouses

BGCP is currently searching for a Senior Director of Clubhouses.
Reporting directly to the VP of Programs & Services, the Senior
Director of Clubhouses is responsible for overseeing all
stand-alone clubhouses serving youth during afterschool and
summer-time hours. This leader will lead our Clubhouse Directors
who are responsible for leading their clubhouses operating across 4
different communities throughout the Greater Portland Metropolitan
Area including East County, North Portland, and Hillsboro. This
leader will provide leadership in the areas of program design,
curriculum development, social emotional learning, professional
development, data tracking, and operations. This leader will be
responsible for ensuring all programming strategies and activities
align with the needs of the community and that all deliverables
tied to organizational grants and contracts are fully met. This
leader will also serve on the 6-member Senior Leadership Team who
is responsible for overseeing all components of the programs and
services provided to youth and families across the communities we
Oversee programmatic frameworks for clubhouse operations that
ensures a safety-first environment with high quality and impactful
programming for Club members.
Collaborate with VP of Club Programs & Services to develop and
implement programs and activities that ensure an?outcomes-driven
program experience for Club members through the 5 Key Elements
of?Positive Youth Development, High Yield Learning Activities,
Targeted Programs,?and Regular Club attendance.?
Collaborate with VP of Operations to design and implement standard
operating procedures to ensure all clubhouses are functioning
effectively and efficiently around a well-organized set of systems
that result in a high-quality experience for staff and Club
Develop and implement outcome tracking systems for advanced
measurement?of programs?and services toward the organization's
overall targeted outcomes.
Review and analyze programmatic data to identify strategies,
tactics, and practices for continuous program improvement.
Identify and implement best practices for data collection through
regular?reviews of Club data and trainings.
Utilize program metrics in resource and development strategies,
grant?reporting, program improvement, and staff accountability.
Execute universal organizational strategies for maintaining a
healthy culture and climate toward operating as a high-functioning
youth development organization.
Collaborate with VP of Equity, People & Culture on professional
development trainings for clubhouse staff.
Interpret and clearly communicate both written and verbally the
objectives,?standards, and programs of the Club and the national
movement of the Club to?school district partners, staff, Club
members, parents, and community members.??
Promote and report Club objectives, standards, strategies, and
outcomes to key stakeholders when called upon to do so.?
Directly supervise and support all Clubhouse Directors.
Collaborate with and support all BGCP team members including Senior
Director team, Executive Team, and Admin Team.
Collaborate with Senior Director of School-Based Clubhouses to
establish synergy and alignment with school-based clubhouses.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or required for the good of
the organization?and community.?
Skills & Knowledge Preferred:
BA or BS degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 3 years of management, leadership, and supervision
experience in youth development and/or non-profit sector.
Experience providing direct services to clients or program
participants in the non-profit or youth development sector.
Qualities of the Ideal Candidate:?

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, BGCP has focused on
protecting the health of our communities and workforce. The current
surge in cases across the state because of the Delta variant and
the resulting strain on our regional healthcare system present us
with perhaps the steepest challenge of the pandemic so far.
As a result, BGCP has, as mandated that as a qualification of
employment, all staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by
October 18, 2021, as allowed by law and unless the staff receives a
medical or religious exemption. Candidates who receive an offer of
BGCP employment must provide proof of vaccination upon hire or
submit an exemption request prior to their start date. Being fully
vaccinated is a requirement for continued employment.
