Role Overview HR at Agilyx is growing team that will build on our current accomplishments and continue designing the talent acquisition, training and engagement systems with a differentiated approach to overall talent management. This position's focus will be on the development of the Talent Acquisition process, Talent Review system and Performance Management, Rewards and Recognition, and Engagement and Retention while also keeping a keen focus on maintaining and building a workplace with mutual respect, equity, diversity, and inclusion. This position will be instrumental in developing and building the programs that support the growth of the employees, the leadership capability, and bench strength of the workforce. This role will be critical in developing Agilyx's ability to attract, develop and retain top talent wherever and whenever it is needed. Key Responsibilities

  • Building out and improving our Talent Acquisition process from sourcing to new hire onboarding
  • Responsive support to fill open positions quickly by sourcing strong pipelines of exceptional talent
  • Develop New Hire Training programs and processes to ensure employees and managers have the tools they need to be successful every day
  • Evaluating and assessing both micro and macro skills and knowledge gaps to recommend, develop, implement and manage plug-&-play training programs that can be used by the management teams and employees alike
  • Driving a culture of engagement with a data-driven and a sound business-driven approach
  • Development of a Talent Management Dashboard to track and report on Talent Mgt. initiatives and program effectiveness
  • Delivering global talent management programs with business objectives, values, and an entrepreneurial, aspirational culture that align with long-range business strategies
  • Aligning award and recognition programs with business objectives
  • Keeping Mutual Respect, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the heart of everything we do Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or commensurate, relevant experience
    • Min. 5 years of relevant experience in a talent management capacity preferably in an environmental or recycling organization or similar experience
    • Proven ability and driving high-impact, talent programs that provide immediate support and learning opportunities for employees and develop future capabilities for the business
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation/attitude
    • Able to identify opportunities, successes, and failures quickly and act upon them in a thoughtful manner
    • Strong written, presentation/verbal skills with the ability to provide a wide variety of training to all levels of the business and lead train-the-trainer programs when needed
    • Demonstrated sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information
    • Strong project management and task execution skills with the demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced, high-volume environment
    • Demonstrated ability to be professional, calm, flexible, resilient, solution-oriented, and creative

Position Mechanics Reports to: Vice President, Human Resources Type: Salaried; full time with full benefits Work Hours: Generally, 8:00am - 5:00pm; but may be required to support a 24/7 operation/business at times Staff: No direct reports Location: Tigard, OR or Portsmouth, NH Work environment: professional office and manufacturing Travel: Up to 10% to attend other company locations and meetings when needed Physical Demands: Varied between work performed in an office environment to that of equipment operators.
