Role Responsibilities: - Organizational Culture & Employee Engagement

  • Lead with a social justice orientation in alignment with the organizational mission and values, fostering a sense of belonging and commitment to a diverse staff.
  • Effectively communicate organization's vision, key initiatives, updates and priorities across all levels of employees to support a culture of transparency between staff and executive team.
  • Motivate and lead teams to invoke passion about PANOW and its mission, creating an environment of continuous improvement in a hybrid office environment.
  • Sponsor and support internal racial equity and organizational culture workgroups ensuring staff have the resources and training needed to execute their duties.Human Resources & Talent Development
    • Assess organizational needs and drive comprehensive solutions in areas such as hiring, retention, performance management, and staff development.
    • Coach and counsel managers and all staff on organizational matters, performance issues, and conflict management.
    • Create and execute regular processes (surveys, 1:1s, focus group sessions, etc.) to actively listen to employees at all levels and to support positive employee engagement and trust.
    • Work closely with a contracted HR firm and Director of Programs and People to:
      • Provide guidance and assistance in managing administrative duties
      • Ensure oversight and legal compliance with human resource laws and regulations
      • Assist with disciplinary processes and the termination of employeesInfrastructure & Operational Leadership
        • Provide oversight and decision making for all internal operations, policies, and structures.
        • In partnership with the VP of Finance, co-develop agency and programmatic budgets to ensure programs have adequate operational resources, staffing and reporting structures to function effectively and meet changing healthcare landscape and funding opportunities.
        • Supervise key senior staff and administrative teams ensuring optimal performance, professional development, and evaluation processes.
        • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all internal and crisis management policies and processes. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the agency.
        • Oversee all building and equipment maintenance, provide counsel to the CEO on strategic changes to either. Candidate Qualifications: - Qualifications
          • Minimum of five years of relevant experience as an Operations or HR Director in a nonprofit organization or government agency ideally, or in a relevant field in the private sector.
          • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing organizational policies and procedures.
          • Experience building talent and motivating teams within the non-profit or governmental sector.
          • Demonstrated project management and proactive leadership skills.
          • Ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment.
          • Experience working effectively with a board of directors.Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Preferred
            • Passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to health equity and the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
            • Knowledge of the healthcare and/or social service sector in Oregon.
            • Must be able to occasionally work on evenings and weekends
