Job Description:

Project ManagerSummary: As a Project Manager you will work closely with the commercial team ensure clear and concise communication to and from the customer. You will work closely with internal teams such as Engineering, Manufacturing & Planning etc. and external teams such as suppliers, third party certifications and many others to manage customer projects from implementation through of all phases of the project life cycle and into productization. The Project manager will be responsible to track, manage and communicate progress on all projects. This role is highly responsible for maintaining / building customer satisfaction during the relationship, the success relies heavily on the Project Manager's ability to drive milestones, communicate, set and maintain clear expectations with all stakeholders, including project scope and any deviations from that scope.Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assignedWork with operations and engineering leadership to identify product and manufacturing improvements that can reduce costs and improve efficiency.Primary point of contact between internal customers, commercial team and sales.Provide timely customer quotations through accurate analysis and materials estimations.Conduct pre- & post- scope analysis for successful project completion, verification of long-lead purchase parts, material availability, BOM and routing accuracy, manufacturing resources, delivery schedules, third party certifications etc.Set and manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.Define project success criteria and communicate metrics to involved parties throughout the project lifecycle.Conduct contract and terms negotiations alongside Account Management and Sales as required prior to PO acceptance and during the project lifecycle.Proactively track and manage changes in project scope, identify risks and devise contingency plans while assessing impacts to the project, schedule, and quality.Point of contact for customer escalations.Conduct post-project analysis and post-mortem to track metrics and address any gaps or escapes with corrective actions.Assist Sales personnel in identifying new business opportunities.Recommend and implement on product design improvements and new product development through Engineering Resources.Recommend and initiate changes to established best practices to improve throughput, efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.General and Communication Skills:Excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills and conflict resolution management experienceSelf-starter with the ability to work well in team environments as well as independentlyStrong verbal and written communication Candidate needs to be comfortable in an everchanging, fast-paced environment.Computer Skills:Proficient MS Office, Project, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skillsExperience with SAP/ERP including Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Infor Preferred Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) structure and CAD drawings preferredEducation/Experience:B.S. or equivalent work experience, or combination of education and experience required4+ years project management or equivalent work experience required.
