Lifestyle Program Floor Director
Details:
We are looking for a Floor Director for KATU's Lifestyle programs, AM Northwest and Afternoon Live. This self motivated person will communicate and connect the live booth crew, studio guests, studio crew and on-air talent during live broadcasts and pre-recorded segments of KATU Lifestyle programs, AM Northwest and Afternoon Live. This person will also connect with viewers via standard mail, e-mail and social media. This person will also maintain the live studio space, backstage and backstage kitchen area.Oregon
Requirements:
KATU/KUNP has an exciting opportunity for a Floor Director for KATU's Lifestyle programs, AM Northwest and Afternoon Live!
Responsibilities include:
--- Print and distribute rundowns for lifestyle programs
--- Collect and list birthday announcements for Lifestyle Programs
--- Cue on-air talent during live and recorded shows
--- Leads studio crew in set changes for live & recorded shows, ensures show runs smoothly according to rundown
--- Troubleshoots/reports issues as necessary
--- Assist in studio camera operation as needed
--- Assist in posting segments to Lifestyle websites
--- Create social media posts to engage with audience
--- Correspond with viewers thru mail and email
--- Maintain the lifestyle studios, backstage and kitchen
--- Various production duties as needed
Experience:
--- Experience, education and/or internship in television or related field preferred
--- Training will be provided
