direction of the Director for Admissions, the Associate Director
for Systems and Technology has broad programmatic and technical
responsibility for the management, development, direction, and
monitoring of Enrollment Management integrated systems. The
individual in this role will have primary responsibility for
managing the Slate CRM system as well as serving as project manager
for any additional system implementations. The Associate Director
has programmatic and technical responsibility for the management,
development, direction, and monitoring of all Admission
technologies including but not limited to Ellucian Banner, OnBase
and Slate CRM . Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Higher
Education, Information Systems, or Communication.
Minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrated leadership in an educational
setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity and demonstrated use of student information
systems/software.
Excellent leadership skills and the ability to effectively apply
management and administrative principles to supervise and manage a
diverse staff and a complex program. Strong strategic planning
skills.
Ability to independently manage and implement highly complex
projects and business
solutions with broad scope and impact. Ability to understand and
analyze complex problems from a broad, proactive perspective.
Ability to organize, train, instruct, and evaluate the productivity
and performance of employees. Ability to analyze individual
situations and take corrective action.
Ability to handle multiple demands, priorities and/or deadlines
simultaneously, and to work independently and with significant
autonomy. Ability to exercise a high level of independent thinking,
creativity, and innovation.
Possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Preferred
Qualifications Master's Degree in Higher Education, Information
Systems, or Communication.
Demonstrated knowledge of, and facility with, variety of software
applications including: Slate, Google applications, and Student
Information Systems (preferably Banner)
Ability to effectively manage responsibilities through delegation,
supervision, coordination, and participation.
Ability to work collaboratively and under limited time pressures
with colleagues.
The annual salary for this position will be between $68,676 and
$79,524 but may be negotiated above this rate dependent upon the
factors above, the budget of the hiring department, and approval
from HR.
