Account Manager for ourSurety Department -based out of Portland,
Oregon!WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Collect and compile information from customer to prepare a new
bond request submission to Surety Company (for existing
accounts)
- Follow Brown and Brown Compliance expectations and procedures
including proper documentation, response time, and high level of
professionalism
- Execute bonds under POA for Surety Companies
- Prepare final submission of completed bonds to Surety
Companies
- Verify bond renewals and issue invoices
- Update and maintain Surety files to ensure ongoing underwriting
compliance
- Answer customer and carrier questions with day-to-day email,
phone, fax, and mail requests in a timely manner
- Address and process Rider requests
- Handle a small number of Surety accounts start to finish;
approximately 15-25 accounts; up to $500k total revenue or more
subjective to the type of accounts
- Assist Account Managers and Senior Account Managers with their
day-to-day tasks
- Conduct an appropriate level of confidentiality of information
processed
- Other duties or special projects may be assigned WHAT YOU'LL
NEED:
- One (1) year experience Surety field or a minimum of three (3)
years of related experience, other combination of work and/or
education will be considered
- Some knowledge and understanding of various types of bonds,
current legislation, rules, laws, and other regulations.
- Some familiarity with contracts and their provisions.
- Fluent with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Word, and Excel
- AMS360 and ImageRight experience or skills to learn software
programs at an accelerated ability
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal
skills
