Tasks and Responsibilities:HTG is looking to fill an IT desktop and peripheral asset management role. This is an on-site full-time position. Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Screen are Required.This individual will be responsible for:Managing Inventory levels of PCs/Mobile devices and peripheralsCreating Purchasing Requisitions for many types of PCs/mobile devices and peripheralsLogging and preparing equipment for Asset RetirementPulling and logging equipment for technicians (New Installs and Repairs)Opening and Managing warranty service eventsThis individual will stay in close contact with the teams completing projects that make regular use of these items, so that they can forecast and adjust equipment levels accordingly. Maintaining minimum stocking levels of equipment is mandatory. When inventory levels hit designated minimums, you will be submitting purchasing requisitions for the approval of additional equipment orders.Will also be responsible for tracking and management of PC assets being retired from service. This includes logging assets and updating the asset inventory database. Experience with ServiceNow a plus.This position requires strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy is critical to your success.Some duties are as assigned according to project needs and resource availability.Required Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentProficient with MS Office applications particularly Word and ExcelGood data entry and typing skillsKnowledge of administration and workflow processesSolid working knowledge of Computers and PeripheralsInventory/Asset management experienceExperience with ServiceNow a plusRequired Core CompetenciesGood verbal and written communication skillsSolid listening skillsCustomer service focusOrganizational skills and attention to detailJudgmentAbility to work in a fast-paced dynamic environmentAble to work effectively, both independently and on a teamStress toleranceFlexible scheduleReliable transportationPunctuality
