Position Summary
Continuation of this position is dependent upon annual renewal of
funding.
The TRIO SSS Program Director is responsible for managing all
aspects of the Cascade TRIO Student Support Services program. This
program is federally funded and is designed to assist approximately
140 (annually) low-income, first-generation students and students
with disabilities to stay in school, transfer to other
colleges/universities, and/or graduate from PCC. The Director
supervises staff; provides direct services and instruction to
students; manages the grant budget and reporting requirements;
develops and oversees program policies, procedures, and
programming; and provides college leadership in the area of student
success, retention, and completion.

Candidate Profile

To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum
qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and
end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week
worked).
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Adult Education, Business, Social
Science, Education Administration, Educational Leadership,
Counseling, or related field (relevant experience may substitute
for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis).
Three years of progressively responsible experience managing,
administering, or coordinating an education program in a school
setting with multiple components and partners.
Two years of experience with management-level supervision of
employees (including hiring, assessment, discipline, etc).

Starting Salary Expectations
Minimum $74,813 to range midpoint of $91,646. Placement will
generally not exceed the mid-point, based on qualifications,
experience, and internal equity.

employees at other accredited institutions.
Paid Leave: (Pro-rated by FTE for Part-Time Employees)
- 14.67 hours of vacation leave per month

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Work is generally performed in an office environment with frequent
interruptions and irregularities in the work schedule. No special
coordination beyond that used for normal mobility and handling of
everyday objects and materials is needed to perform the job
satisfactorily.
