will have end-to-end responsibility for the Gerber direct eCommerce
business as we look to scale with speed and equip more consumers
with their outdoor adventure ready gear. You will manage both
direct and indirect teams and will be working closely with your
eCom team and other functions such as Brand Marketing, Customer
Service, IT, Supply Chain, Product and more. This is a critical
senior level role as our brand continues to expand our footprint
and drive a deeper connection with consumers. This is a
Coach/Player role as you'll be expected to both set and execute the
strategy with support from your direct and indirect teams. You will
be in our office in Portland, OR and be -part of our hybrid working
model (office/remote).Key Responsibilities
- Overall business responsibility (P&L) of the Gerber direct
eCom business, driving and accelerating the sales and profitability
in select markets with primary focus on the US.
- Creating and executing a long-term strategic vision for Gerber
direct eCom business and translating the strategy into objectives
and priorities for the team
- Leading team operations with focus on the entire consumer
shopping journey: from attract to convert to fulfilment and
engagement
- Creating annual operating calendars that balance needs of
brand, commercial and other priorities as deemed necessary by
leadership
- Plan and execute with cross category functions (in a matrix)
-to drive sales, profit and world class customer experiences. Lead
collaboration efforts between Brand Marketing, Product, IT, Supply
Chain, Customer Service and more.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing to create full funnel targeted
campaigns and promotions that drive traffic and conversions while
ensuring consistent messaging and an integrated consumer experience
across channels. This includes but is not limited to paid media,
email, SEO and other channels
- Own the product merchandising assortment strategy for direct
eCom
- Drive the promotional calendar in line with financial targets
for the year
- Oversee the UX / UI aspects of the platform, ensuring a
seamless and intuitive shopping journey aimed at improving
conversion, AOV and retention
- Create and implement initiatives to foster customer loyalty and
increase customer lifetime value
- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and
adjust strategies based on market trends, consumer behavior and
performance metrics
- Create and share holistic performance dashboards that encompass
complete picture of the health of our direct eCom business
- Creating a strong eCom culture within the company and act as a
change-agent and influencer at Gerber to drive eCom

- Responsible for both strategy setting and tactical
executionSkills, knowledge and experience
- Successful eCom experience in a senior role, proven track
record of growing eCom both in terms of revenue, profit and
operational efficiency
- Good overall understanding of all aspects of eCom operations:
digital marketing, store operations, supply chain and building
engagement and long term customer loyalty
- Successful experience delivering top line revenue growth
through operational excellence in core growth levers including but
not limited to: Driving new audiences at target ROAS or CAC through
paid and non-paid channels (Shopping, social etc), building and
optimizing consumer purchase journeys to increase add to cart,
checkout completion and increasing LTV through digital
engagement
- Demonstrated track record of achieving results in a fast-paced,
growth focused environment and ability to work with agility and
evolving priorities
- A good combination of long-term strategic thinking and ability
to execute
- Proven track record of building and cultivating high performing
teams and leading in a matrix environment / hybrid work model
- First-hand experience on change management required to
transform from traditional to digital business
- Experience in working in a global set up: excellent written and
spoken English. Fluency in other languages always a plus
- Strong financial acumen and overall business
