Job DescriptionCOMPANY Wall to Wall Tile & Stone, LLC and affiliates LOCATION Vancouver, WA ABOUT THE COMPANY Wall to Wall is a privately held fabrication company based out of Vancouver and has a reputation for the production and installation of the absolute finest quality granite and quartz countertops at an affordable price for both commercial and residential customers. All employees and members of management are committed to working in a team oriented environment to achieve success while providing outstanding, quality work to their customers. Wall to Wall started in 2008 and today has grown to 5 locations with approximately 275 employees and is positioning for continued fast pace growth. POSITION SUMMARY Our company is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for monitoring general accounting practices, budgeting, and developing internal accounting controls while assisting and reviewing the work of the AP Specialist and Sr Billing and Collections Specialist. The successful candidate for this position will report directly to the CFO and play an instrumental role in the financial future of the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation. Create new internal accounting policies and maintain existing policies Implement and coordinate the month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting schedules. Review daily deposit package (ACH, credit cards, Remote Deposit) and make deposit in accounting system. Review all outgoing cash payments from bank account. Prepare Borrowing Base Certificate (monthly). Work with sales, operations, purchasing and project managers for customer setup, estimate creation and monthly progress billing for commercial contracts. Ensure accuracy of physical inventory reporting through workflow of raw materials, tools and other assets from purchase through usage/sale. Performs reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and resolve errors timely. Subsidiary information maintained to be accurate knowing what entries are comprised and how/when the balances are projected to be removed. Perform bank reconciliations. Taxes and Licenses Reporting and Renewal: City Business License, Quarterly State, Business Tax Return, State Corporate Annual Report, Sales & Use State Tax (State and local), Property Tax Return Preparation and Reporting. Maintenance of fixed assets (including purchases, disposals and transfers) Develops and maintain list of tax, license and business registrations and timelines for renewals. Develop and maintain list of all vehicles owned and leased with renewal dates and maintenance records. Payroll: Review and Record ADP Payroll. Assist HR Business Partner with Payroll Questions and Issues. 401K – recording of deferral and match payments, provide information to Plan administrator for required compliancy to complete Form 5500. *Info and reports from ADP Administration and reconciliation of employee benefits (medical, life, and Voluntary Benefits Funding Monitors technology to determine ways to automate the accounting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability. Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with internal and external customers. Unclaimed Property tracking and escheating with state’s guidelines. Lead on annual review/audit with accounting firm. Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESTBD *A/P Specialist, Sr. Billing/Collections Specialist. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong background in manufacturing with ability to create inventory accounting and cost accounting processes
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external teams up to the Executive level.
  • Strong systems experience with knowledge, aptitude and desire to collaborate, design, document and implement processes.
  • Active team member to be part of the cross-functional team that will drive new enhancements to our ERP system.
  • Significant experience working with key leaders in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Solid planning, understanding, and administration skills
  • High energy; demonstrates urgency and fast pace with ability to multi-task
  • Strong ability to understand and make recommendations of accounting processes and reporting that are simple and efficient for a wide range of client and project/service types. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree (B.
