Career Opportunity

The Field Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for working directly with internal and external stakeholders on strategic, organizational, and operational duties designed to provide customer satisfaction and generate sales growth. The Field Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for partnering with APCONs Domestic Sales Team to drive productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for providing excellent customer service and support throughout the entire Sales cycle.
  • Promptly responds to sales team inquiries and requests.
  • Develops key performance metrics across domestic sales territories.
  • Provides regular sales performance metrics reporting.
  • Provides regular and irregular sales data reports, progress reports, and other sales related updates and records to Executive Management.
  • Acts as a liaison between sales and all APCON teams focused on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Partners with Sales Administrative Support Team who provides support to both domestic and international sales on sales quotes, evaluations, pricing, and literature.
  • Partners with Inside Sales Team focused on generating new and existing customer qualified sales leads and opportunities to achieve double-digit sales growth.
  • Partners with marketing and regional sales managers to identify and target customer profiles using creative and informational digital marketing campaigns.
  • Achieves specific quarterly sales objectives.
  • Schedules product demonstrations as needed.
  • Coordinates RFP and RFQ process by working with internal teams to provide prompt and professional customer service and support.
  • Assists with sales quote generation and evaluation agreements as needed.
  • Ensures companywide proper training and use of CRM database.
  • Addresses performance issues appropriately and in a timely manner.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Demonstrated experience forecasting new sales opportunities, setting goals, and monitoring sales activity.
    • Ability to develop professional business relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to motivate a high performing Domestic Sales Team.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and be flexible in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
    • Ability to use cutting edge technology and tools to track sales performance metrics.
    • Ability to generate regular sales progress reports.
    • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
    • Demonstrated experience with a CRM.

      Education and Experience

      • Bachelors Degree.
      • 5+ years experience in a Sales Operations or Sales Administration role; enterprise software or hardware sales preferred.
