This recruitment is "Open Until Filled" to allow for a deeper

Multnomah County Behavioral Health Division Promoting Access to
Hope (PATH) Program is a collaborative project involving local
police, prosecutors, public defenders, corrections officers, social
service providers and community organizations. The PATH Program
Coordinator Clinical Services Specialist (CSS) - KSA LGBTQIA+ is
critical to the PATH program, by providing clinical assessment,
analysis, treatment services, specific engagement and care
coordination, and case management to LGBTQIA+ individuals suspected
of low-level drug offenses, houseless individuals, at risk of
becoming houseless, and individuals suffering from substance use
disorder (SUD).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The position requires advanced
knowledge of social inequities, stigma, homophobia, and historic
oppressions that have contributed to LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay,
bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual or
allied, and plus - those not included/recognized by one of these
categories) social and behavioral health disparities. The position
requires knowledge and experience working with individuals
identifying as LGBTQIA+ and/or Non-Binary in order to meet the
behavioral health needs of clients from a diverse culture or
community background with compassionate communication and empathy.
It requires understanding factors affecting mental health/substance
abuse and treatment services for LGBTQIA+ communities.
Teleworking: At this time, this position is designated to "routine
telework," meaning you will be working remotely (from home) most of
the time; a hybrid schedule also is available. This Position does
require outreach in the community as necessary, requiring face to
face contact. As with all routine telework positions, employees may
be required to come into the office on occasion. The designation of
Routine Telework may be subject to change at a future time.
Currently, all employees must reside in Oregon or Washington; the
county cannot support ongoing telework from other locations. The
onsite work location for this position is Five Oak. The address is
209 SW 4th Ave, Portland, OR 97204.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Training and experience for this journey
level, professional classifications are a bachelor's degree or
equivalent to four (4) years of experience that demonstrates the
ability to perform the duties of the position.
Certification: Addiction Counselor Certification - I (CADC - I),
Board of Oregon- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor
