Job Description:

Are you an experienced lab professional? If so, LabCorp wants to speak with you about exciting opportunities to join our team as a Technologist in Portland OR. In this position you will work in a fast paced, customer focused, and challenging environment, and will be a part of our overall mission at LabCorp: "Improving Health, Improving Lives".
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM
Toxicology Lab
Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
* Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
* Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
* Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
* Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
* Bachelors' of science degree in biology or chemistry, or equivalent.
* CLIA qualified for high complexity testing
* ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist (or equivalent) is a plus
* Proficient with computers
* Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
* Familiarity with laboratory information systems (especially Cerner Millenium and Horizon) are a plus
* Experience with regulated and non-regulated drug testing is a plus
* Experience with automated testing systems, and/or mass spectrometers (operation and troubleshooting) is a plus
* Experience in small molecule analysis is a plus
