Responsibilities
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will:
- Perform admission medical history and physical exams on all
patients within 24 hours of admission
- Prescribe non-controlled medications and controlled
substances
- Supervise patients regarding detoxification and other medical
issues
- Order and interpret lab tests
- Customer relations
- Assure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff,
guests and visitors
Qualifications
Required
- Licensed to practice in Oregon at the time of hire
- PMHNP Board Certification
- Clinical experience in addiction medicine
- Minimum of two years freedom from chemical use
problemsPreferred
- 2 or more years of experience in psychiatry and addiction
