Responsibilities

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will:

• Perform admission medical history and physical exams on all patients within 24 hours of admission
• Prescribe non-controlled medications and controlled substances
• Supervise patients regarding detoxification and other medical issues
• Order and interpret lab tests
• Customer relations
• Assure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, guests and visitors
  
  Qualifications
  
  Required
  • Licensed to practice in Oregon at the time of hire
  • PMHNP Board Certification
  • Clinical experience in addiction medicine
  • Minimum of two years freedom from chemical use problemsPreferred
    • 2 or more years of experience in psychiatry and addiction
