Job Description:

*Overview*We are seeking a recent graduate or experienced Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care for a well established dental office. You will be replacing a long term hygienist who has been with the practice for decades and recently retired. Pay and benefits are for long term retention and continued compassionate dental hygiene care for our patients.*Responsibilities*- Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Take digital dental x-rays- Administer local anesthetic- Maintain accurate patient records- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Conduct initial patient screenings- Provide chair-side assistance to dentists as needed*Skills*- Proficiency in dental coding and terminology- Familiarity with Dentrix software- Knowledge of general dentistry practices- Ability to accurately record and interpret vital signs- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and dental team- Competence in dental radiologic techniquesJoin our team and contribute to improving the oral health of our patients.
